Swimming graciously in the open sea, while a giant war-ship approaches piercing through the waves - the synchronized swimmers have no care at all. Just like our approach to much of life's challenges: let's all do the same and hope for the best.

For this composition I was inspired by the idea of the "subservient masses" - people living their lives without thinking and without consideration of wether they they matter or not. Lost to the open sea of destiny, floating aimlessly but still in perfect order, they will soon find out that life will hit them hard and - often - unexpectedly.
