This particular work, painted on a bright red background, has been created by the artist in the summer of 2018 while vacationing on a deserted beach in Bulgaria. The particularity of this work is that the paint is applied in thick dabs, almost like the artist had decided to add texture to his gesture and therefore create a strong presence of the object on the canvas. 

The brightly colored cactus shines through and pops-out of the canvas almost like a sculpture: it's presence cannot be ignored.
